Finding Rancho Del Rio
The Colorado River Center is located along the Colorado Headwaters Scenic Byway at Rancho Del Rio. Easily accessible from I-70 exit #157 (Wolcott). A 40 min. drive from Vail and one hour from Steamboat Springs, Summit County, and Winter Park.
From Vail
Take I-70 west to Wolcott (exit #157) go north on CO-131 for approx. 14.5 miles to State Bridge. Turn right after you cross the bridge that spans the Colorado River go up the road 4 miles. Rancho Del Rio will be on the left.
From Steamboat Springs
Take US-40 from town east four miles to the junction of CO-131. Turn right on CO-131 south and go approx. 55 miles to State Bridge. Turn left right before the bridge that spans the Colorado River go up the road 4 miles. Rancho Del Rio will be on the left.
From Winter Park
Take US-40 west to Kremmling. Turn left on CO-9 south for about 2 miles. After crossing the river turn right on the Colorado headwaters Scenic Byway (Grand County Route #1) and follow the river for 20 miles. Rancho Del Rio will be on the right.
From Denver/Summit County
Take I-70 west to Silverthorne (exit #205). Go North on CO-9 for approx. 33 miles towards Kremmling. Just before Kremmling turn left (west) on the Colorado Headwaters Scenic Byway (Grand County Route #1) & follow the river for 20 miles. Rancho del Rio will be on the right.
From Western Colorado
Take I-70 east to Wolcott (exit #157) go north on CO-131 for approx. 13.5 miles to State Bridge. Turn right after you cross the bridge that spans the Colorado River go up the road 4 miles. Rancho Del Rio will be on the left.
